PILATES KIT
Don’t worry about signing up to pricey reformer classes – see if you like Pilates and try it at home with some free videos on YouTube first! Better quality equipment is best but expensive and you may not love it! So try a more cost efficient little starter pack like this 4 piece set – amazing idea!
I love Pilates and subscribe to Pilates by Bryony – there’s a 7 day free trial if you fancy trying! I’ve linked here https://pilatesbybryony.com/
(NOT AN AD – I’m merely a stalker and luv her)
PILLOW SPRAY
This pillow spray is great, I have it myself! This bundle also comes with a ‘stress check roll on’ that I’ve had from other brands and love the idea!
The ‘This Works Pillow Spray and Roll-On’ use the principles of aromatherapy to encourage relaxation and better sleep.
MEAL PREP/ FOOD STORAGE CONTAINERS
I’ve added two types so you can pick your own preferred style! I have the lockable ones but the Igluu style look really handy plus they can go in the dishwasher!
The more prepared you are, the less likely you will make unhealthy or even less tasty options for dinner! Plus making your own lunch/ breakfast even a few days a week will save a fortune! I think the priority is enjoying food and trying to be cost conscious. I see it as a fine balance and preparation is definitely key! If you spend some time of a weekend or evening to try and plan ahead, it will make such a difference!
I save tabs for meal ideas on Instagram and refer back when I’m doing my shopping list & meal plans for the week. I’m not strict per day but like a rough idea and to ensure I have the key ingredients, ideally overlapping to avoid food wastage.
Food means SO much to me (lols) so I’d say I put a lot more thought in to it all than the average! I know it is very time consuming so it is a luxury but if you’re short on time, being organised ahead of time is even more important!
BLENDER/JUICER
I currently have a Nutribullet (linked) but I’ve seen every man and their dog with the Ninja variations – I’ve linked the cheaper and more expensive options. I have had mine for YEARS and it’s still going strong so that’s a clear testament to the quality – I’m talking must be over 8 years – decent going!
I use mine for my protein shakes primarily but in fairness, it actually also comes in handy for making soup! Definitely not as the ideal tool (the more expensive Ninja model would be) but if it is only the rare
WATER FILTER – BRITA FILTER
I loooooove a Brita filter! I’ve had one for ages. I store it in the fridge door and it’s just much nicer all round. I have 2-3 litres each day as I just naturally enjoy drinking water! This therefore means that I’m a total water snob.. judge me all you want but it tastes DIFFERENT.. OK!
Being cooled in the fridge and filtered is wonderful – I massively advise trying this if you struggle on your water intake. If you enjoy your water intake… I still massively advise this. Funnily enough, I’ve finally got my boyfriend in to drinking copious amounts of water this new year and he has told me how much better he feels simply by being hydrated – who’d have thought it, hey?
