A fairly random, last-minute trip that ended up a gorgeous Winter escape that I would highly recommend.
We were intending to go to Mallorca but due to a bad weather forecast, we were wary. My boyfriend is golf MAD and had previously heard many positive reviews on Turkey for it as well as the other obvious bonus; Winter sun!
LAGOON SUITE
We wanted to go All Inclusive just to make life easier, especially with the trip being so last minute. We chose The Kempinski The Dome as it looked great and had really strong reviews.
We stayed in a Lagoon Suite. I would say this absolutely made the stay as it was just stunning and really lovely to have your own pool. We were able to pre-request a heated pool and it was genuinely like a warm bath which was lovely to use both day and night. The minibar was refreshed daily and the room had a coffee machine.
There were two bathrooms as the room was able to sleep 3-4 people. It felt so luxurious and beautifully styled. There was a lounge area, which would become the second bedroom, as well as a huge walk in wardrobe. The view over the golf course was stunning and as someone who isn’t interested in golf, I really enjoyed watching people play the small section that was in front of our room!
GOLF
There are many golf courses to pick from. Several are accessible with a free shuttle that the hotel runs throughout the day, back and forth. On the first occasion my partner played golf, we used this service to The Pasha Golf Course (WEBSITE LINKED HERE)
and spent some time on the Driving Range (approx 5euro for 35 balls) I then went back to the hotel to sunbathe whilst he played with a small group.
On the second occasion, we ventured by taxi to Carya Golf Course (WEBISTE LINKED HERE)
This journey was 20euro for about a 5 minute drive. I joined him on this course and had a great time driving the buggy! It was lovely sunshine and as we chose a later slot, it had the benefit of ’Night Golf’ flood lights that lit up the entire course which was a real experience.
FOOD & DRINK
There is one buffet of an evening and one a la carte option each day. This rotates between Italian, Fish and Asian cuisine by their own titles.
These can incur a 25euro pp supplement. However, if you are in a Lagoon suite then they are fully included and you are not limited to a number of dishes plus the menus are fairly large for choice.
There is also a second buffet for breakfast and lunch. The buffet selection for all 3 meals is a wide choice and can vary per day. They also have some prepared dishes to collect. An additional option for lunch is an a la carte option on the beach.
Another nice touch is that they have a cocktail menu but kept asking me my favourite drink and made a few that were not listed, such as a Cosmopolitan or Pornstar Martini (including the Prosecco shot) lovely!
They have a few different bar areas including a Sports Bar (Putters Bar) which has TV’s showing Football etc and a pool table so that was good fun too and stays open until 2am! We had a great time here on our first night giddiness! This also seems ideal for golfer groups to all have a laugh in.
POOL & BEACH
The service around the pool and beach throughout the day is excellent. The staff are so friendly and remember you/your order, which I think is a lovely touch and makes a real difference when people are the hotel are so polite and cheerful.
The pool area is huge with many sunbeds that are lovely quality – again, makes a huge difference!
Same for the beach, there are a huge amount of regular free luxury sunbeds as well as a range of Cabana options. There is a stunning selection of VIP Cabana’s over the sea too – the Cabana options are all an extra charge.

ADDITIONAL PERKS
We had an evening flight and could check out of the room at 2pm which was very helpful and completely free of charge. We were also able to use the All Inclusive lunch and drinks etc while we waited, again, free of charge.
There are a few shops inside the hotel including a selection of the essential suncreams and toiletries etc.
NOTE: there is no ATM/ Cash machine so please bring that with you if you wish – they accept euros.
There are plenty of little touches to the hotel and All Inclusive package that really makes it a positive experience. I hate when there are little catches or hidden charges after you’ve spent such a lot of money and time to make a booking so this was really refreshing.
You can really tell that they have put a lot of money and effort into designing the newer sections of the hotel, such as the Lagoon Suites and Buffet areas – the Interior Design is stunning.

The hotel was a great choice for a couple or family that would like to incorporate some golf into their trip, with beautiful courses easily accessible nearby. For these bookings, I would 100% recommend the Lagoon Suite. I also think it would be an ideal option for a men’s or ladies’ golf trips – which we saw many. The hotel was quite a relaxed atmosphere and ideal for a little reset rather than a full on party mode.
