A game changer for our Chow Chow!
Butternut box has been a great option for us when our Chow Chow; Toby was having some health issues.

We have been able to give specific details to get a specially designed plan for him and it has been perfect. There are different flavours to pick from so he doesn’t get bored of the same flavour of biscuits, as he was previously.
We chose a weight loss option as Chows are notoriously lazy anyway plus his leg problem on top, the poor boy was advised to go on a diet by our vet!
We tried quite a few different types of biscuits and did look into fresh options but it was SO expensive as he isn’t a little Pug! For a while, we also were home cooking meats and vegetables which was very costly and time-consuming only then to be advised that it wouldn’t have the required ‘goodies’ (vitamins and minerals) needed to help him grow strong and healthy.

We decided to try Butternut box as a temporary option but he loves it so much and it works so seamlessly, we’re hooked. The box is delivered to us in frozen pouches that we keep in one drawer of the freezer and take out a few packs as we go to defrost in the fridge. One half is for breakfast and the second for his evening meal. How excited he gets while it is being dished out is quite comical and a real difference from his previous meals so it’s clearly a hit for him too.
