I can only give my opinion on the model that I have which is the 30c.
The prices appear to range between £209 (my model being the cheapest) to £549. (They can go in to sale so this is correct at time of writing)
I have often wondered how much better the more expensive model would be – if you have one, let me know as I love feedback!
I personally got this on Black Friday in 2021 which was a 50% discount – insane! I had debated a robot vacuum for a while but not researched properly so when I saw it advertised, I actually thought it might be a con and not a genuine 50% discount but ever since it has stayed around £200 instead of the £100 that I was willing to risk if it was no good!
I can vouch for the 30C model as being a great addition. I will break it down into positives and negatives at a quick glance!
POSITIVES:
-
- Can control by Eufy app
-
- Set a schedule for set days or times to automatically vacuum so you don’t have to remember
-
- you don’t have to be home thanks to the app
-
- Keeps on top of regular cleaning so it doesn’t build up
-
- Easy to empty
-
- Easy to clean
-
- Picks up a lot – good suction for a little thing!
-
- Doesn’t throw itself down the stairs
-
- Rotates well
-
- Has sensors so it doesn’t run into most things
-
- Can ‘send home’ at any time on the app and it automatically finds its charge base again
-
- Returns back to base to charge after its session
-
- You come home feeling like a cleaner has visited!
-
- Lovely fresh vacuum lines on carpet
-
- No marks left on tiled or wood flooring
NEGATIVES:
-
- Has trouble with raised surfaces (e.g. our raised bar stool bases give it grief so I have to space the chairs out so it doesn’t get stuck)
-
- Sensors don’t always work so some things it does run right into (not good with delicate furniture or anything likely to tip over easily)
-
- Will go under sofas but if the level changes even slightly it can then get stuck (gets stuck under one corner of one of our sofas every.single.time)
-
- Light track marks showing where it has gone around furniture on the carpet
SUMMARY:
The pack includes tape to put on furniture for it to avoid. I haven’t used this but I suspect it would work well to avoid the sofa sticking situation. I wouldn’t just have a Eufy without another traditional vacuum ( see my blog here on my Shark review) and I see it as a great addition to the home rather than an outright vacuum replacement.
The Eufy brand as a whole is actually much bigger than I realised before coming to write this!
