Manifesting has become a buzzword in recent years, but what does it really mean? It is a concept that means SO much to me because there is no part of me that doesn’t believe it is 100% real and possible.
At its core, manifesting is the practice of focusing your thoughts and energy on your goals to bring them to fruition. It’s not magic; it’s a mindset and lifestyle shift that can transform your approach to achieving your dreams. Your thoughts will create your life – do NOT underestimate how powerful your own mind is.
Here’s how to start manifesting, why it works, and the tools you can use to enhance the process.
WHAT IS MANIFESTING?
Manifesting is about intentionally aligning your thoughts, beliefs, and actions with what you want to achieve in life. It’s based on the law of attraction—the idea that like attracts like. By maintaining a positive mindset and focusing on your goals, you create opportunities for success.

5 STEPS TO START YOUR MANIFESTING:
1. **Clarify Your Goals**:
– Write down exactly what you want. Be specific and detailed.
2. **Visualize Your Success**:
– Spend a few minutes each day imagining what your dream life looks like.
3. **Affirm Your Beliefs**:
– Use affirmations to reinforce a positive mindset. For example, “I am worthy of success.”
4. **Take Aligned Action**:
– Manifesting isn’t just thinking—it requires action. Break your goal into manageable steps.
5. **Let Go of Doubt**:
– Trust the process and stay consistent, even if results aren’t immediate.
WHY & HOW IT WORKS:
– **Focus and Clarity**: When you know exactly what you want, it’s easier to take action toward achieving it.
– **Positive Mindset**: Manifesting trains your brain to see opportunities instead of obstacles.
– **Self-Empowerment**: The process encourages self-belief, which is a powerful motivator.

IT ISN’T JUST AIRY FAIRY NONSENSE, I PROMISE!
Manifesting is grounded in psychology and neuroscience. Techniques like visualisation activate the brain’s Reticular Activating System (RAS), which helps filter information and identify opportunities that align with your goals. The combination of mindset and action is what makes it effective, not wishful thinking.
IT’S SO EASY TO INCORPORATE TO YOUR FAILY ROUTINE:
Manifesting doesn’t require hours of meditation or expensive tools. Here are simple ways to make it part of your daily routine:
– Spend 5 minutes journaling your goals each morning or evening.
– Use a vision board to keep your dreams top of mind and ensure they stay aligned – you’re allowed to change your mind on what you want!
– Practice gratitude daily to focus on the positives in your life.
START SMALL AND BUILD UP HABITS:
If you’re new to manifesting, begin with small, tangible goals. For example:
– Manifest having a productive or positive day- see and feel the good that is already around you.
– Once you see results, move on to bigger aspirations like career changes or financial goals.

MANIFESTING TOOL KIT TO ENHANCE YOUR JOURNEY:
Let’s be real, on a topic like this, you can spend as much or as little as you want. You can write notes in your phone for free and imagine things for free – don’t use money as an excuse as to why you can’t be more positive or grateful for what is already in your life. Use free YouTube videos to try breath work or sound baths, you don’t NEED to spend lots of money to start the journey.
These are just some tips of products that I use and massively rate. Investing in a few key items can make your manifesting practice more enjoyable and effective. Here are some suggestions:
– **Manifestation Journals**: Write down your goals and affirmations.
This also extends to gratitude journals, which is the ideal place to start as well as notes on your phone or laptop. Hand written goals and affirmations go a long way seeing your own writing in front of you though! Invest in a nice notepad for that and see how powerful it can be!
– **Vision Boards**: Create a visual representation of your goals. Canva App is probably ideal for this.
I do like a vision board and I do them BUT for me, the most powerful way is to list who you want to be, what you want, the life you want, how you want to feel etc etc. lists and visualisation are a great place to start if you don’t feel ‘arty’ – I just use screenshots and put them together on Instagram stories (loading them all to one story image and then saving it for myself, not uploading)
– **Crystal Kits**: Crystals like rose quartz and citrine are believed to amplify your energy. I do like crystals and have a few but this isn’t the main thing for me so don’t force it if you aren’t vining the idea!
– **Guided Meditation Apps**: Apps like Headspace or Calm offer meditations specifically for visualisation and focus. I also love the ‘Superhuman’ App.
– **Books on Manifesting**: There are PLENTY and lots of business and self help books (all that I read) have undertones of it. My absolute favourite is Roxie Nafousi – she now has several but her original orange book is the best place to start.
– **Scented Candles**: Use aromatherapy to create a relaxing and focused environment.
– **Affirmation Cards**: Keep positive statements nearby to reinforce your mindset.
(I personally don’t use these but I like to save positive quotes on Instagram tabs)
BENEFITS OF MANIFESTING:
– **Mental Clarity**: Helps you prioritise and focus on what truly matters.
– **Emotional Wellbeing**: Cultivates gratitude and positivity.
– **Physical Motivation**: Encourages action toward your goals.

EXAMPLES:
*Morning Ritual*
– Write three affirmations and visualise your day going perfectly. Have a quiet morning – try to get up before the rest of the household. Medidation/breathwork/soundbath/exercise/writing gratitude/ planning your day – all and any of these things will set you up better for the day.
*Midday Check-In*
– Take a 5-minute break to reaffirm your goals and adjust your mindset. Not literally midday but during the day jut take some time to focus on your breath. Check in and reset if you are overwhelmed or stressed etc. Breath work – literally even just deep, long breaths in and out, not noticeable to those around you, is such a good reset button. Don’t overthink the effort and time you need to put in to these things – a little goes a long way.
*Evening Gratitude*
– Write down three things you’re grateful for that day. You can do it in a journal and keep note of it which is a lovely reminder during times of overwhelm. I personally just write gratitude in my notes on my phone as I switch it up. Sometimes venting stresses or adding visualisations and affirmations can really help – I just see what I fancy at the time! You know yourself best.
Manifesting is a powerful tool for creating the life you’ve always wanted. By starting small, staying consistent, and investing in tools that support your journey, you’ll see results sooner than you think.
Remember, manifesting is about aligning your mindset, energy, and actions to attract your dreams. I truly believe that mindset is EVERYTHING in any situation and building on your mental focus, clarity and vision is nothing other than a strength.
So, why not give it a go?
